Green Energy: First surge is the latest release from Greenhouse Band, a Caribbean reggae collective known for high-energy performances, rich musicianship, and deep roots in community and culture. This first wave of the album features 15 original tracks, blending reggae with Caribbean pop and soca influences. Imagine Jamaica meeting Trinidad, with a sound that is modern, uplifting, and made to move people.

Driven by seasoned musicians Jazzique, Jahreese, Travis and Vakiel, Greenhouse Band delivers feel-good rhythms layered with meaning. While the album stays mostly high-energy and dance-ready, it also carries messages of peace, love, and unity, staying true to reggae’s storytelling tradition while crossing comfortably into reggae-pop territory.

This release is especially meaningful as it comes after years of encouragement from the community to bring original music to the forefront. Greenhouse Band proudly gives back, regularly sponsoring and supporting the Junior Calypso Shows, mentoring young artists and performing behind them to help keep Caribbean musical traditions alive.

First Surge is more than an album. It is a thank-you to the community, a celebration of Caribbean culture, and the beginning of a powerful rollout. This is Green Energy, and the current has just started.
